Recap
The young Reds finally kicked off their Cumberland County League season, winning by the odd goal in seven in this Copeland v. Allerdale encounter.
And it was a performance full of character with Reds coming from behind on three occasions before netting an 84th minute winner.

Social opened the scoring a few minutes before half time but Reds were back on terms early in the second half thanks to Josh Palmer (pictured).
The hosts again went in front only for Ben Davidson to mark his debut with a second equaliser.
Reds, managed by Lee McCullough and Malcolm Allison this season, fell behind for a third time before Palmer restored parity with his second of the afternoon.
This time, though, Reds were able to keep Social at bay and went on to grab a late winner through sixteen years old Zach Lester.
Lewis Park and Oliver Todd (2) shared the goals for Miners.
Team: Scott Paden-Gale, Ben Wade, Dan Whitehead, Zach Martin, Owen Birkett, Lewis Moore, Jack Brown, Even Stephenson, Josh Palmer, Louis Webster, Ben Davidson. Substitutes – Cain Pears, Aaron Williams and Aaron Lister (all used).
