Recap
A well taken Matty Foster goal ten minutes from time secured a narrow win for Reds and the positives didn’t end there. They recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season, kept a rare clean sheet and were able to give game time to Liam Lightfoot who has missed the entire season through injury.

The only goal of the game saw Foster turn neatly before despatching the ball into the net from twenty five yards.
He has found his goal touch again, scoring in a fourth consecutive game, after enduring a frustrating period through injury earlier in the season.
Lightfoot sustained a knee injury in first team training during pre-season and this was his return to match time after a few ‘non-contact’ sessions.
Reds dictated play during the first half with some patient, possession based football but the final ball was often poor hence the long wait for the match winning goal.
Team: Scott Paden-Gill, Thomas Downes, Dan Whitehead, Reuben Butterworth, Tom Skinner, Jack Burns, Tom Houghton, Taylor Hambling, Matty Foster, Louis Webster, Josh Palmer. Substitutes – Cain Pears and Liam Lightfoot (both used).
