MATCH PREVIEW: City of Liverpool [H]

Denied a first visit to Borough Park in April because of the pandemic, City of Liverpool should make their maiden visit to the ground tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm).

Indeed, it will be their second visit to Cumbria this week having played at Kendal Town on Tuesday. They lost that game and, like Reds, go into this NPL North West fixture seeking a first league win of the new season.

They have lost their opening two league matches and the only win recorded was in the FA Cup, 3-0 at Glossop North End.

The clubs met for the first time in Bootle thirteen months ago and a first half goal from Jay Kelly decided a closely fought encounter in our favour.

Danny Grainger will opt for a similar squad that fought out a 2-2 draw versus Trafford in midweek with none of the injured quartet – Dav Symington, Conor Tinnion, Robbie Hebson and Jordan Little – ready for a recall.

Extra tickets will possibly available if City of Liverpool supporters do not take up their full allocation by 14:30.
