MATCH POSTPONED: Mossley match postponed
No great surprise to Reds’ supporters but Saturday’s NPL West Division encounter
at Mossley has been postponed due to the frozen Seel Park surface.

This afternoon’s pitch inspection confirmed the inevitable with the Mossley fixture
becoming the third Workington fixture cancelled in eight days.
Temperatures are expected to slowly rise over the weekend but the thaw will be too
late to save hundreds of non-league games in the build-up to Christmas.
The home match v. Bootle has already been arranged, 11 February, but the games
at Colne and Mossley will be re-scheduled in due course.
- Workington had suffered only four frost related postponements in the last five seasons prior to the current cold-snap.
