Danny Grainger has issued a rallying call to the Workington Reds supporters on the eve of the Club’s biggest game for years.

Ahead of the NPL West Division promotion play-off final against Runcorn Linnets, Reds’ passionate boss said:

“The atmosphere inside the ground on Tuesday was electric and the boys responded to the magnificent support in style.  We must recreate that special atmosphere on Saturday and need as many locals through the turnstiles as possible – the more the better!  It will help us all achieving our goal of promotion.

“Do you know a friend or relative you could bring to the game, even if they have never been to a match before, to add their support to the team and be part of a special day.

“Just one more match at the end of a long, demanding season and we need you all right behind us from the first minute.  Be loud and proud to be a part of Workington Reds’ big day.”
