Louis Potts: Made to feel welcome
New signing Louis Potts says he’s been made to ‘feel welcome’ during his first few training sessions with Reds’ first-team.
Potts, 18, arrived last month after leaving Preston North End and has looked sharp since the squad began training in Penrith.
Speaking last night, he said: “It’s good to get back playing again. I can’t wait for the season to get started.”
No-doubt a daunting prospect, the striker seems to have fit in well and explained his welcome, saying: “They’re a great group of lads. They’ve made me feel welcome. It’s a good set that’s easy to fit into.”
On his targets on the pitch, Potts went on to say: “I just want to get off to a good start, score as many goals as possible, and hopefully, make a good impression.”
Finally, on the move itself, the Salford-born lad revealed our table-topping campaign convinced him to come to Borough Park.
“Obviously, the success you had last season was a massive thing.
“I thought I could come in and help us to be as successful as last season, push for promotion again, and make a good impression.”
