League leaders in town
The battle to avoid the drop will take on added significance on Tuesday with Reds hoping to prize something from league leaders, Warrington Town, in one of their games in hand.

After a string of fixtures against some of the League’s lesser lights, the next two Tuesday fixtures will certainly test the resolve.
Table-toppers Warrington are in Town this week with Reds travelling to play Farsley Celtic next Tuesday.
Town, who possess the meanest defence in Evo-Stik Premier, travel to Borough Park seeking a league double having inflicted a 2-0 defeat upon Reds back in September.
Paul Carden’s impressive side went clear at the top on Saturday after closest rivals, Farsley Celtic, slipped up at home. They have won twenty league games this term – ten at home and ten away – and in nine league visits to west Cumbria have only lost twice.
Lee Andrews will have to shuffle the pack for the first of two home games this week. Dan Wordsworth will start his four-match suspension and will be replaced by Sam Smith while Kieran Maguire will come back into the squad to cover for the injured Dan Carmichael.
