City of Liverpool match winner – Jay Kelly.

Jay joined the club in the summer and featured in six of the pre-season games before making his senior debut in the FA Cup tie at Newcastle Benfield. He scored his first goal for the club in the win at City of Liverpool.

The talented fullback/midfielder will be in the squad for the BetVictor North West fixture which sees table-toppers, Reds, take on 6th placed Rammy.

They have enjoyed a solid start to the season recording three wins on home soil and a win, a draw and a defeat on the road. Their only defeat so far, from six matches, was at Pontefract Collieries.

Ramsbottom knocked Reds out of the FA Trophy last season and were the last NPL survivors in the competition. They reached the play-offs only to lose at the semi-final stage to Radcliffe.
