Haven game off, next stop Frenchfield

Friday’s Shaun Hocking Memorial Trophy fixture at Whitehaven has been postponed following a positive Covid test to one of their players.

At this stage, we are not sure if, or when, the fixture will be re-scheduled but, meanwhile, we hope the individual is soon back in circulation.

Steven Rudd will now switch his attention to Saturday’s game at Penrith (1.30pm) and will have a strong squad at his disposal.

Penrith had their first run-out at Threave Rovers on Wednesday but suffered a 4-1 reverse. The Reds and Blues last met in a friendly at Borough Park in December with two Reuben Jerome goals helping us to a narrow 2-1 victory, Max Brown responded for Penrith.
