Recap
The match of the day in the division finished all square, with Reds sharing four goals in a repeat of the score line from the first meeting earlier in the season.
But the visitors felt some crucial decisions went against them which might have prevented them obtaining all three points in Manchester.
Reds opened the scoring with a great finish after good work down the left but then it was the case of two penalties – one not awarded in their favour and one given against them.
Firstly, their appeals for what looked a blatant penalty were ignored then, to rub salt into gaping wounds, the home side were awarded a dubious spot-kick in their favour.
They duly converted to make it all square at the break.
It remained an even contest in the second half with both sides unable to gain the upper hand.
AR went in front for the first time in the 85th minute but Reds’ character shone through and they equalised seconds before the final whistle.
Joe Douglas’ measured cross into the area found Liam White who headed home a last-gasp, but fully deserved equaliser.
