Debut goal for new signing Nic

New signing Nic Evangelinos capped his Workington debut with a goal in the pre-season romp against Morpeth Town.

After becoming Chris Willcock’s first recruit since his appointment as manager, Nic netted his first goal just ten minutes after being introduced to the Workington supporters.

He scored the second goal as Reds ran riot in Saturday’s final pre-season game.

A fans’ favourite at all of the clubs he has played for, Nic adds more quality to a talented squad and that was evident throughout his first half hour in a Workington shirt.

Nic has played against us in recent seasons for both Ashton United and Ramsbottom United, scoring for the latter when they knocked us out of the FA Trophy during the 18-19 season. He has also played for West Didsbury & Chorlton and Curzon Ashton.
