Dave Wilson

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of former director, Dave Wilson, who died on Tuesday. He was 61.

A lifelong fan, Dave devoted many hours to the club, overseeing maintenance matters, and supported the club home and away over several decades.

In later years, he became Reds’ match day host, welcoming visiting directors, guests and the officials as well as liaising with the match day stewards.

Dave became an infrequent visitor to Borough Park in recent seasons due to ill health and we send our condolences to Carole, his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Distington Crematorium on Friday 7 February, (11.15am).
