Cumbrian derby – Take 2

After the first team Cumbrian derby on Tuesday it is now the Youth team who take centre stage with Penrith visiting Borough Park on Thursday for FA Youth Cup action.

Both Reds and the Blues cleared the first hurdle a fortnight ago – Workington overcoming Hebburn Town and Penrith enjoying a high scoring victory against Cleator Moor Celtic – and now face each other in the First Qualifying Round.

Reds squad has been strengthened for this round as some players missed the Hebburn game through holidays and injuries.

In fact, the biggest decision tonight for joint managers Craig Johnston and Stuart Williamson will be who to leave out of the twenty man squad.
