CONTRACT: Robbie remains a Red for 21/22

We are delighted to announce that right-sided defender/midfielder Robbie Hebson has re-signed with the club for the 2021/22 season.

Hebson, 23, is in his second spell at the club and has been a regular fixture in the matchday squad since returning to Borough Park in the summer of 2019.

He missed most of the 2020-21 campaign through injury, only returning once the season was suspended.

Speaking on Sunday, he said: “I’m buzzing to be honest!

“I’m really happy to have been asked to come back because it’s the only place I want to play, so I was waiting for the phone call and was really happy when I got it.”

Manager Danny Grainger commented: “Robbie was very unlucky with his injury last year, we still think there’s loads to come from him and he’s just going to get better and better.

“He’s very versatile, he can multiple positions and we expect him to kick on this year.”
