CONTRACT: Casson commits to a third campaign

We are delighted to announce that Ceiran Casson has re-signed with the club for the 2021/22 season.

Casson, who joined us in the summer of 2019 after leaving Carlisle United, has been a key player at Borough Park since and boasts 43 starts as a now senior football.

Chatting about re-singing, the youngster remarked: “I hoping to stay on.

“So, when Danny rang me, I was very pleased and I can’t wait to get back with the team.”

Manager and former fellow CUFC man Danny Grainger added: “Cass adapted to senior football really well in his first season.

“He quickly developed into one of the mainstays of the team and he’s an unsung hero.

“His passing range, work rate and quality on the ball makes him a fantastic player, so hopefully he’ll get back to those heights this season.

Casson is re-signing no. 9 for 21/22, and watch out for the tenth later today!
