CLUB STATEMENT: Charlie Bowman update

It is a both a relief and a delight to report some positive news for Charlie Bowman following his serious accident.

After a seven hour operation in Leeds his surgery has gone well with the medical professionals very happy with the outcome.

Club Chairman David Bowden spoke to Charlies Mum Beverley today and commented, “It goes without saying it has been an extremely worrying time, but the relief for all the family following his successful surgery was very clear. Beverley was also quick to praise the marvellous response from his teammates, supporters and the RISC members”.

Charlie still faces a lengthy recuperation and I’m sure we all look forward to seeing one of our most popular players back at Borough Park as soon as he is able.
