Chris enjoys first visit to Borough Park

Workington Reds welcomed a special guest on Saturday with Christopher Irvine attending his first game at Borough Park.

Wheelchair-bound Chris, from Whitehaven, loves watching televised sport, particularly football, so his carers, Michelle and Kirsty thought it would be a good idea to treat him to a ‘live’ game and duly organised the trip to watch Reds in action against Tadcaster Albion at the weekend.

Chris watched the match from the enclosure after Danny Grainger and John Mackay presented him with a few items of Reds memorabilia.
