BUDGET BOOSTER A MASSIVE SUCCESS

The Reds first Budget Booster closed at 9pm last night and has been hailed a massive success by Vice Chairman Richard Lewthwaite who administered the scheme.

A total of £21,790 was donated through 94 individual pledges throughout June.

Aimed to be a short high impact fundraiser to enable manager Danny Grainger to hopefully strengthen the squad further prior to the big kick off the Booster has certainly done that.

When informed of the final total just after the fund closed the Gaffer said it was “an incredible number”.

A big part of the Booster were the rewards on offer and we will be in touch with all individuals who have claimed rewards over the next week to finalise those.

In addition anyone pledging over £60 will automatically be entered into the pre season draw which will be made before the Carlisle Utd friendly on 15th July.

The club would like to place on record it’s sincere thanks to all who have taken part, as we said at the start, modern non league clubs need fans to engage with squad building initiatives in order for them to progress and true to form Reds fans have stepped up.

Let’s look forward to August 12th and to another season of progress on and off the field.
