Away tie for the winners

Nothing clear-cut emerged from Monday’s FA Trophy draw at Wembley but the winners of the Reds v. Droylsden replay will be on the road for the First Round Qualifying tie.

They will travel to play the winners of the Tadcaster Albion/Brighouse Town match which will also be played on Tuesday having been postponed at the weekend. The next round is scheduled for Saturday week, 26 October.

First things first, though, and Reds hope to be strengthened for the decider against Droylsden with the return of leading scorers Nathan Waterston (7) and Dav Symington (5) but Gari Rowntree is a doubt after hobbling off on Saturday.

Reds will be hoping for a decent gate for the second of four potential encounters against the Bloods but for those not able to get to Borough Park, coverage of the game will be on BBC Radio Cumbria whilst Paul Armstrong will be operating the Live Scoreboard facility via the website.
