Academy boys run for charity
Four U13 players from the Reds Academy have been pounding the streets in support of Prostate Cancer.

The Whitehaven based quartet is running the equivalent of a marathon each throughout January and already have surpassed their targets, raising over £2,000 in the process.

Alex Kitchen, Charlie Hodgson Lennon Pearson and Matthew McClean have been keeping fit and using their spare time to good purpose over the last few weeks. They have already clocked-up 250 miles jogging around the Whitehaven area.
Academy head coach, Brian Dawson, praised the lads for their initiative saying, “It’s a fantastic effort from all of them and they deserve the plaudits after putting themselves through the pain barrier for such a good cause.”
