A THANK TO THE FANS: Online ticketing
The club had to find alternatives to “cash at the turnstile” when football restarted after the first covid break and introduced pre-match ticket sales.
This was very successful in providing the required Track & Trace information and also meant that we could control ticket sales in accordance with the maximum allowed attendance.
However, when restrictions were relaxed at the start this season we recognised it may be difficult for some people to get to Borough Park during the week to buy tickets and on-line ticketing seemed an obvious way forward.
We considered several providers before choosing Kaizen as our ticketing partner. They have a proven track record at our level and came highly recommended. They made the process of setting up the system straightforward and have supported us throughout.
We introduced on-line tickets a few days before the FA Trophy game with Dunston and sold 60+ e-tickets. Almost 100 fans used the system for the last home game and feedback received so far has been very positive. Therefore, we expect on-line ticket sales to increase as people become more aware of it.
