CLUB NEWS: Marjorie Hunter

It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of another club stalwart, Marjorie Hunter, who died on Wednesday morning.  She was 81.

Marjorie had supported the Reds for sixty years and for the past two decades had been a devoted volunteer at the club.  Along with her late husband, Ken, they ran the kitchen food bar in the social club for several years and, more recently, Marjorie was a prominent ticket seller on match days.

She attended the opening game of the season at Guiseley before illness struck and that proved to be her last game as a supporter.

Marjorie will be greatly missed by all at Workington AFC.
