CLUB NEWS: Craig Rutherford steps down

It is with great disappointment that we announce that Craig Rutherford has decided to step down from his coaching role as one of Mark Fell’s back room staff for family and personal reasons.

Craig came in during close season and has always been committed and enthusiastic delivering quality training sessions and invaluable match day input.

“I would like to thank the Board for allowing me the chance to be part of such a fantastic club.” says Craig.

He went on to say

“To the Gaffer and Staff it’s been an absolute pleasure working with you all, the players are are a great group and it’s been a pleasure being on the grass with you, I wish you all nothing but success.”

The club would like to place on record our thanks and best wishes to Craig.

“Rudders is a great coach and a real football person who has brought a lot to the club in his short time with us. We are really disappointed to see him leave however we want to thank him for his efforts and wish him and his family all the very best going forward” said Vice Chairman Richard Lewthwaite.
