Vacancy: Kit Manager

We are seeking a reliable and organised Kit Manager to support the Workington AFC First Team.

This role involves managing and maintaining all kit requirements for match days, including travel to away games, and requires availability for evening and weekend fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise, distribute, and ensure all match kits are clean, compliant with NPL and FA regulations, and readily available for each match, both home and away
  • Assist players with kit needs in the dressing room on game days and communicate closely with the First Team Manager for kit arrangements
  • Manage cleaning, repairs, and storage of all kit items, ensuring they meet the standards for each game
  • Conduct regular stock checks on kit and equipment, handle ordering and stock levels, and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised kit and dressing room area, handling occasional general cleaning and sweeping.
  • Undertake their responsibilities with full knowledge of the importance of confidentiality and the club’s relevant policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations
  • Keen attention to detail and a reliable, professional demeanour
  • Driving licence
  • Previous experience of working in a football environment is desirable but not essential.
