NEW SIGNING: Fell swoops for defender
Despite one of their best rearguard displays of the season at the weekend, Reds’ boss, Mark Fell, has added to his defensive options by recruiting Theo Marcel Farquharson, a tall commanding central defender.
And, subject to the relevant paperwork being completed, Theo will join the squad for the weekend trip to Gainsborough.
Theo has been playing football since his infancy and has been associated with Manchester clubs, City and United, and Burnley throughout his school days.
He progressed to youth football, where he spent time with Oldham Athletic and Stockport County, and his senior career has included a brief stint in Portugal as well spells with FC United of Manchester, Ossett United, Bromsgrove, Ramsbottom United and, more recently, Warrington Town and City of Liverpool.
Really excited to be joining the club, I am already enjoying my football here. There is a great feeling of togetherness and drive from the management staff & players. Everyone has made me feel welcome & it’s definitely an environment which will be beneficial for my progression and performance.
Theo Marcel Farquharson
Can’t wait get some more games under my belt and build on my performances each week with the club.
Theo is the second defensive recruit of the week following the earlier return of Matty Clarke.
