CLUB NEWS: A reminder to supporters

As we look forward to the visit of Worksop Town to Borough Park on Saturday we feel it is important that we remind supporters that Workington AFC are working hard to encourage youngsters and families to attend games in a positive and welcoming environment.

It is unfortunate to report that at last week’s game there were a small minority of fans who thought it was acceptable to use offensive language directed towards players and match officials and this quite simply will not be tolerated.

Anyone identified as being involved in this behaviour going forward could expect a lengthy ban from the ground as we continue to safeguard our players and supporters during games.
