NEW SIGNINGS: Carlisle United duo return

Reds can confirm that Aran Fitzpatrick and Jake Allan will both be returning to Borough Park for a second loan spell with the club.

Both spent time with Reds last season and recently featured in United’s EFL Trophy tie against Nottingham Forest. Allan, in fact, scored his first senior goal against Forest in what was Steven Rudd’s first game in caretaker charge of the Blues.

Left sided defender or midfielder, Fitzpatrick, played eight games for Workington last season whilst midfielder, Allan, made six starts and also featured on another six occasions as a substitute.

Subject to league and FA approval, the duo will arrive on a Work Experience loan arrangement.
