Cumberland Cup draw
Reds’ will begin their defence of the Cumberland Cup with a tie against Mirehouse at a venue and date to be arranged.
Mirehouse currently play in Division One of the Cumberland County League and are a talented young side, guided by the evergreen Ryan Smith.
Twenty-six teams have entered the Senior Cup and six of those – Aspatria, Greystoke, Keswick, Langwathby United, Maryport Athletic and Whitehaven – have been given byes into the Second Round.

The closing date for this round is Saturday 6 October.
Workington last travelled to Mirehouse during the 2008-09 competition with Darren Edmondson scoring one of our goals in a 3-1 victory.
Two years earlier, we emerged 9-0 winners at their ground with Craig Johnston and Tony Nicholson both scoring hat-tricks.
