Ted Sharkey

It is with sadness we report the passing of former Workington Reds stalwart, Les ‘Ted’ Sharkey.  He was 58.

Ted emerged from loyal to supporter to become a director in the early 2000s and, for a few seasons, filled in as the first team physio/sponge man working alongside the late Tommy Cassidy.

He has experienced ill health in recent years but leaves us too soon and we send our condolences to his wife, family and friends.
