Chris Willcock has moved quickly to boost his depleted squad, completing the signing of two players ahead of Saturday’s home game against Marine.
Kyle Harrison (26) and Rowan Roache (21) will probably go straight into the squad for the NPL West Division encounter as the injury crisis worsens.
Defender Kyle has been playing for Widnes recently and has turned out against us in the past for the likes of Hyde and Altrincham. He has also gained experience with Farsley Celtic, Mossley, Guiseley and Ramsbottom United.
He is eligible for Saturday and Monday but then faces a suspension.
Rowan, a Republic of Ireland international at youth level over four age groups, began his senior career with Blackpool and has spent time with Southport, FC United of Manchester, Lancaster City, Bamber Bridge and, most recently, Altrincham. Reds travelled to Marine on Tuesday without six players and three more sustained injuries in the two hour stint at College Road.
