Reds have signed 18-year-old Taylor Charters on loan from Carlisle United.
Whitehaven born, he signed a two-year professional contract back in August and the ball-playing midfielder has featured on the Carlisle bench five times this season.
Having trained regularly with the first-team, he also featured in the pre-season friendlies and has been among the goals for the Blues Under-18 side’s opening fixtures.
Reds’ manager Danny Grainger commented:
I think he is a fantastic talent and has a great attitude and I’m looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.
He is a player I have seen develop over the last couple of seasons and I think he can have a big impact with us.
Taylor will be available for Saturday’s BetVictor North West Division fixture against Brighouse Town at Borough Park, 3pm kick-off.
