Plenty of positive vibes are emerging from pre-season training with the players delivering their personal auditions to the manager by sheer hard work.
Two tough sessions this week have got the squad back into the swing of things with the manager saying he was impressed with the players’ fitness levels on their return.
Gone are the days of the first few sessions being delivered without a ball being kicked with graft, graft and more graft. The work is just as difficult nowadays but the majority of drills are ball related.
There were plenty of drinks breaks at Thursday’s session on what was a very warm evening but the attitude was commendable amongst the twenty three players present.
Saturday’s session will be more game-related with an in-house XI v. XI match scheduled.
