| Senior member of the squad who took over as manager in early September 2007 following the departure of Tommy Cassidy. In a distinguished playing career he served the likes of Carlisle United, Plymouth Argyle, Huddersfield Town, York City and Barrow. His first match in charge as manager was against former club Barrow. He was until recently employed by Gretna FC on their community programme. |

| Arrived at the club in mid September 2007 bringing with him forty years of experience in the game. In recent years he has coached at York City, Hartlepool United and Gretna and that followed an acclaimed career which included spells with Luton Town, Newcastle United, Fulham, Norwich City, Stoke City and Tulsa Roughnecks. |

| Sue was previously at Gretna FC for three years and has now returned to her studies at the University of Cumbria. |

| Spent time with Blackburn Rovers as a junior before being part of the Newcastle United set up for three years. Then switched to non-league football and has given three excellent yearsservice to the club making nearly 200 appearances in the process. Still has ambitions to return to full-time football and been in outstanding form this season - his fourth at Borough Park. |

| Joined the club in January 08 from UniBond League outfit Newcastle Blue Star. Was with hometown Carlisle United before spending two seasons with Torquay United. |
Gari Rowntree | Defender |
| Another talented youngster with a bright future ahead of him. Spent over six years with Blackburn Rovers but a long term injury led to his release in January 07. His father and brother are former Workington players and he completed a family hat-trick when he made his debut in the 06/07 season. |
Kyle May | Defender |
| A model of consistency over the past three seasons and the recipient of numerous player of the year awards. Began his career with Carlisle United and later played for Gretna. Kyle had hardly missed a game until his ligament injury ruled him out for a number of games in March 08. |
Dan Gullen | Defender |
| Another player who has progressed via the Reserves and enjoyed a good spell in the team at the start of the season. Scored his first goals for the club in the successful FA Cup run in the 07/08 season. Currently playing for Whitehaven Amateurs. |
Phil McLuckie | Defender |
| Local lad who joined the club initially on a three month loan spell from Morcambe where he played the Reserve team football. Phil joined the Reds on a permanent deal in March 2008. He has also represented the England Colleges team. |
Shaun Vipond | Midfielder |
| Talented young player on loan from Carlisle United now in his third month with the club. Shaun Vipond signed a pro-contract with Carlisle in the summer of 2007 after progressing through the Carlisle United Youth squad. He is known for his accurate set pieces. |
David Hewson | Midfielder |
| Only member of the side to play at the new Wembley, albeit in a five-a-side tournament. Started with Northbank before making his mark with Gretna. Emerged as Workington's penalty shoot-out hero in the UniBond promotion play-off final in 2005 but his progress has been hampered by a variety of injuries. |
Tony Hopper | Midfielder |
| Started his career with hometown club Carlisle United and later played for Irish club Bohemians, Barrow and Penrith. Now in his second spell with the club making over 100 appearances during that time. Has been in outstanding form this season. |

| Talented left sided player who returned for a second spell with the club last season. Previously with Carlisle United, Penrith and American club Wilmington Hammerheads. He is the son of former Everton and Birmingham City player Billy. |
Craig Johnston | Forward |
| Been an excellent servant to the club and now has more than two hundred first team appearances to his credit. Established a club record by scoring in nine consecutive league games a few seasons ago while, in the 2006-07 season, netted the winning goal in the Cumberland Cup Final. Was with Carlisle United as a junior. His father Ian also gave sterling service to Workington AFC. |

| Played UniBond League football for the club a few years ago before enjoying great success with Whitehaven in the Wearside League. Already amongst the goals in his first season at Blue Square North, emerged as the leading scorer early in the New Year. |

| The Appleby-born 19-year-old forward spent three years at Gretna after previously been on YTS at Carlisle United. |
Andrew Hardman | Forward |
| 19 year old Andrew, from Silloth, joined the Reds in February after leaving Carlisle United. He had quite a bad run for about eight months with illness while at Carlisle but has recovered and is a bright prospect for the future. Andrew is not the biggest striker but has good technique and has scored a number of goals for the Reserves. |
