More young talent recruited

By Paul Armstrong

Two more talented local youngsters have agreed to join the club with Ceiran Casson and Jay Kelly set to sign on a non-contract basis.

Danny Grainger has offered them the opportunity to link up with the squad following their release from Carlisle United last month.

Ceiran, a central midfielder, helped United lift the Cumberland Cup with an impressive performance against Penrith at Brunton Park.

Jay had a run-out at Borough Park in the Legends game recently and has been with United since he was eight years old. He is a right fullback by trade.

The manager has made a good job of rebuilding the squad following the high number of leavers but there is still much work to do and he will continue on the recruitment theme until taking a well deserved family holiday early next month.
